7 Wonders of Christmas

Yay... i had the most accomplishment this Christmas

1) I reminded myself about the true meaning of Christmas - which is the celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ!

2) I woke up early and drove to Starhill (before all the shopping complexes were open) with a car fully loaded with girls *grins* to attend Christmas church service at Menara Yayasan Tun Razak! Yay... for exploring into a new place!

3) Ate pre-packed Restoran Seri Melayu Nasi Briyani lunch box for the time in my life! 2nd yay!

4) Exchanged gifts with annonymous persons!

5) Parked and stepped into Pavillion for the 1st time! Yay 3!

6) Observed how Malaysians luxuriate themselves with J.Co Donuts! I was lazy to wait in the queue. The potong line method is to purchase the packed ready 1 dozen + drink promo. Siao ahh... eat all next day sure constipated!

7) I used Smart Tunnel on my way back, for the 1st time. Yay 3+1!

Quotes from Kuching

Finally back from my 4D 3N trip at the Hope 12th Malaysian National Convention held at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Kuching. The days are filled with so much fun... practically and spiritually. 4 hours of sleep per day... u can imagine how busy (and sometimes busybody) i was.

Well... i've not yet recieve the photos from my unoffical photographers and some official photographer. I would just skip telling about my adventure, for the moment. Will be back when the pics are in my reach.

But then,

Best thing i've learnt from Kuching town:

"Wat! You think Kuching so hulu arr!"

Damn laa, beyond my imagination... got 7-11, McD 24hr, KFC 24hr, Pizza Hut, Secret Recipe...

Best thing i've learnt while staying with my roomies:

CC: Can please go away a while? I wan 2 change.
E1: Go in the bathroom laa!
CC: Bathroom wet laa... i change here.

E2: Wat is it that u have? That i do not have?

CC & E1: -_-"

The Short Post

My results are out today, and so as the whole of Uniten. Overall, i'm pretty much more than satisfied over my results. I achieved much better than the goal i set early on during the semesters.

So, almost evryone of my contacts are online. Then we started comapring our results. Ssome did better than me; some i did better than them. Sometimes i do get a little envious when i hear of my friends getting better results.

But then again, as i reflect back, i am happy for them as well. As the amount of hard work they put in, i'm just having a tiny fraction of it. There this verse in the Bible, "You reap what you sow.." and it is very true. Every action has its consequences, but we merely the one who carried out God's plan. Our sucess, i believe truly lies in our hands, if we just follow what God tells us.

I really thanked God for todays results, for He has been so good and knows me the most, that each and every of my needs were taken care off. As i submit to His kingdom more and more, i felt that i'm the most blessed person in the world. Alhough i dun become an overnight millionaire, but the many little things God planned and introduced in my life had touched me in one way or the other.

I also like to take the opportunity to thank my mum and dad, for they are the ever loving supporter and provider in time of my needs. To my brothers and sisters in Uniten Caregroup, u were the unique God creations that came to brighten up my life. And to my classmates, who supported me in many ways, especially Sharon, Jasmine, and Yu Pang; it's a blessing to have all of ya all in my life today.

All glory to God. Amen.

Self Evaluation: Episode 2

Ok... i'm rather bored and having difficulties to sleep.

Today, i'm back with
My Top Japan Female Artiste

There is no such thing as no. 10, 9, 8 , 7 currently
the names are hyperlinked, do click on it for further details of the artiste.

6) Mai Kuraki

One of the earliest Jpop artiste i knew when i started exploring the world of Jpop. I was just around 11 years old then, when Mp3 makes it place on the computing platform (yeah... with the help of uncle Bill's OS Windows 95 and Winamp music player)

Though i don't keep tab much of this singer as her popularity is somewhat not shining anymore, my personal all-time favorites are Love Day After Tomorrow, Kimi To No Jikan, Can't Forget Your Love, and Perfect Crime. And i think her round eyes are cute as well... 0.0

5) Yui

I always fall for girls who sings and plays the acoustic guitar and writes her won song. Haha. I dunno how her 2nd album From Me To You ended up in my computer. Her songs has a sense of classic reminiscence of Japanese pop songs. The song: Life, featured in the album is the 5th ending for the ever popular Bleach anime.

4)
BoA

Ahha... the Korean who sang and still singing in Japanese. I was then intriqued and bought her album Valenti during my 1st year in uni (with my scholarship money summore) -_-"

I definitely like the way she carries her song, the kind of pop music blend you would listen daily on Disney Channel evryday, and the tune goes a long wayyy to captivate ur heart. The last best song i listened to was Nanairo No Ashita -brand new beat- from her Made In Twenty album.

3) Mika Nakashima

Hehe... i bought her 1st album True off the shelf in a music store in Ipoh (yeah.. the store is still there, it has not gone bankrupt). If i'm not mistaken, soemwhere in year 2002, in Spetember... remembered it was few weeks before SPM. I was then attracted by the packaging, but hearing once, she proved that her voice was to too damn good to let pass unnoticed.

Mika sang for the ending of the hit anime Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and acted in the live action series of Nana. Hence, i believe most guys at Cendekiawan knows about her very well too :)

2) Koda Kumi

Well, i got to know about her from the famed videogame Final Fantasy X-2. She sang the opening song Real Emotions and the theme song 1000 No Kotaba (1000 words). This singer has a sense of uniqueness in her voice as well as her dance moves. Not to mention, she has a hot figure as well... ehehehe.

1) Utada Hikaru

I just had to have too much ang pau (red packets) earnings during 2001 Chinese New Year. I got her 2nd album Distance, out of random pickings; and i instantly fell in love and remain faithful to her music till now. This is the only artiste that i having couple of original CDs from Japan and one of it having personally autographed 1st batch. Haha... still my prized possesions thus far, nah... i won't even lend it out.

PD Trip: Jalan² cari makan™

Continuing with my adventures around PD. First thing to do is to fill my empty stomach. Can't do anything much when ur hungry eh...

I decided to settle with this restaurant, called Weng Yin Seafood Village, since it's one of the nearest to the condo, and it's chinese -_-"

As u can see, the bill came to RM45.30, pretty cheap considering it's for 3 persons. Guess what i ordered...

Prawns and deer meat, and the price was really reasonable. I was quite happy considering this restaurant have Indonesian Curry Prawn, which is one of my old time favourite. The gravy lacked a certain sense of milkyness (not enuff santan maybe), but overall i was satisfied. One thing to note, most of the shops... 9/10 maybe, doesn't serve pork. No pork no live... haha... well, i could endure for one day :)

Having a sumptuos meal, I proceeded on visiting PD Ostrich farm. The entrance fee is damn expensive. RM8 per head!!! and its 30x smaller than Zoo Negara! First and the last! Oh ya, its situated right beside PD Polytechnic... not far from my condo as well, but i dun encourage anyone to go.

100x uglier than the African ones i saw on National Geographic.

On my last day, after checking out of the accomodations. Me n my family decided to check out the Army Museum (Muzium Tentera Darat), located somewhere around PD 4th mile. This time the entrance is free.

The butt bigger than the cannon belongs to my mum.... haha.

The tummy bigger than the airplane fuselage belongs to my dad.... hahahaha.

Ok, back in Serdang. I was just in time to join the frisbee games with my caregroup members. I din't play though, i joined in watching :)

We had 5 visitors joining us for the first time. They're from uniten as well. And what i heard was they're were picked right off the food court they were havin lunch. Talkin about openess eh. And they do respond to strangers... hehehe.

We have three guys from Iran, which i can't seem to spell their name corretly according to the pronounciation. I shall call them Mr. M, Mr. H, and Mr. S. And two vietnamese girls, Kwan and Yen. Thank god that we are able to reach out in friendship and to have more sociable contacts :)

Last but not least again,

:)
I'm not providing ice cream this time...

PD Trip: Where the lazy 'lion' sleeps

Last Wednesday, I made a short-lived trip, to Port Dickson, NS. Well, my dad was called for an urgent meeting at the last minute, and I ended up following him. Since it's my school holiday and i had nothing better to do.

The place which i stayed at, Kondo Peranginan TNB. Last minute, so this was the best place to check-in without much hassle.

The main entrance... well, the only entrance.

The front view, the balconies are overlooking towards the sea, too bad that my unit's balcony view was blocked by multitudes of coconut trees.. hmphhh!

The swimming pool. Ok i guess... only 4.5 ft deep. Good for shorties eh. But then i did not dipped for too long. Too much chlorine, my eyes started to sting after approx 30 mins of swim.

My unit's living hall. The unit boast 3 rooms: Master with a King sized, 2nd with a Queen sized, and 3rd with two singles. And the best part of it, it costs rm70 per night according to my dad's grade, and the bad part... yeah, you have to be a TNB employee in order to rent. Outsiders, never ever in your lifetime... hahah.

Last but not least, a spacious kitchen area. No cooking is allowed though... cheh.

A Joke Intended

Q: Is it disrespectful to dance and sing in the place of worship?
A: No, it is not. It is most encouraged to do so.

Q: Aren't we suppose to shut up and concentrate when we're worshipping.
A: God gave us a body which moves; a mouth which speaks. Why let the talent go to waste?

Q: But my elders told me to shut up!
A: Apparently they never heard of this...

There was this young little girl and her grandmother. It was Sunday Service.

The little girl was dancing and singing with joy, all praises and glory to God. But not before long, the grandmother reprimanded her, "This is the day of the Lord's sabbath, you should be silent and worship." Sabbath is the 7th day of the week, where God intended it as a rest day; for He was done with his creation on the 6th day.

Not much the girl can do, she was starting to feel uncomfortable, for she cannot do the one thing she liked on Sunday. She decided to take a stroll outside of the church, to catch a refreshing new breeze.

Just outside, the little girl came across a tree with a pair of birds chirping happily. Observing... then she said, "Shhh!!! Keep quiet. This is the day of the Lord's sabbath." The birds were unaware. Unable to do anything, the little girl proceeded along the path until she reached a little stream. The flow of water trickling through the rocks is liken to a beautiful dancer and a melodious tune. The little girl observed and goes, "You look so happy, but can you please keep queit. Grandma said we shouldn't make noise on the day of the Lord's sabbath."

Soon, the girl came to a field, and there was a mule grazing the lustre greens. The little girl approched and said, "You are quiet different from those two I met earlier." Aware of the little girls presence, the mule looked up and observed as well.

"Well Mr. Mule, you knew that today is a day of the Lord's sabbath."
"You have the same religion as Grandma!"

Creative Arts

Finally I've been liberated of my sleepless nights and mind torture.... haha... not true. My exams had just ended, with much high hopes in it. As this semester's papers seemingly to be stress free for me, i had slept more than studying.

Back on topic, I attended church as usual, but was amazed by the new deco that was surrounding the hall. Some of the brothers and sisters from the deco group had came up with brilliant artworks that leaves you go "wow, when did they had the time to do this? whose idea? given me 100 years, i can never come up with this..."

Wall backdrops by Khang Wei, Jinnie, Fei Yee, Mickey, Yong Kang, Pei Ling, Greg, and Chye Cheah:

Other artworks which caught my attention as well.

Self-Evaluation: Episode 1

Ok... i know that im supposed to be in bed!
Hafta attend Sunday service later at 9am.

Yes. i've stopped Niamah!!!-ing already. Not quite ngam with my style lerr. But N... oops... i can't sleep lah, own self find fault for having 'wet-dreams' earlier yesterday... apa la wei. My nose running sure wet laa... bocor maa (nothing in common with the MP Batu Gajah story k).

Since im still wide awake, and nobody to tok to. Tok wif self aso can lah... self-evaluation lorr.

What is my top-ten vulgar word usage:

10) Jackass!
only when my dad makes a fool outta himself...

9) Asshole
currently in use to represent a doorstep salesman. I'll go like, "What was that asshole promoting?". Last used in Ipoh, TMnet agent promoting rm77 broadband.

8) Baarger
bugger. used when i'm pissed off at commoners. i.e. Dad: Why u take so long to buy? Me: That bugger lah! Chop chicken aso like ah-ma (with reference to my grandma's chopping speed...)

7) Shithead/Dickhead
Only my family understands when i use this word. It means someone who's brain rationalism is a factor of possibly -50 lower than the lowest recorded human IQ (not mensa scale - BolehLand scale). Typically used to describe our drivers and politician... (same lah... both aso driving maa... 1 drive car, anudder drive 'developement')

6) KNNBCCB
acronym for kaninabehcaucibai. With local online games canggih swear-filter, any CIM+E (cina india melayu + english) vulgarities sure wun lepas one. KNNBCCB is a widely accepted standard vulgarity in BolehLand and KiasuLand.

5) Lan Jiao!!
when any off my friends makes self-opposing statments.
i.e. Me: "i'm only interested in guys".
haha... most probably in ur heart u'll go "lan jiao!" as well

4) Sohai!!!
when any of my not-religious friends do something stupid lah off course.

3) Puki!!!
only does this when i got owned in DoTA or any other games lah. Pissed off at ownself lah... ok... my stupidity

2) Cipet...
as opposed to Cibai. this is a gentler version. also can be used as a replacement for Cepat! Miraculously i onli utter this in front of Seng, my classmate n my cipet-sifu (taught me this word lah)

1) Nabeh!!!
most uttered during my DoTA days... kinda stuck with me now. At least its easier, less harsh and sound mor cool then Niamah!!!

NIAMAH!!!

I'm so lazy today. Been down with this runny nose all day long. All thanks to UNITEN for making me wake up to do my final semester's subject registration at 8.30am. Niamah!!! caught cold because i forced myself to get up when i was still all tired from my past week's endevours.

Or at least beacause i spend off yesterday night till 3am reading posts on Patrick Teoh's blog. Two of them: Tokkok and NIAMAH!!!. Niamah!!! This Ulu Kelang bugger got so much time ranting on his blog leh, instead of busying himself at KLPAC. And practically influenced me alot on getting to know of current issues. This fella interested only in Star's N columns le. ok aso la... save me rm1.20 daily.

Niamah!!! There goes my day, actually i juz got up from dreamland again (minus the nightmares, wetdreams, etc) U practically can't do anything when ur down with runny nose. Say goodbye! adios! sayonara! to my Enginerring Econs test on monday. Never liked it anyway. I'm physically, mentally and spiritually prepared for a C.

Now i'm craving for KFC. Yes! and I will go and satisfied my lust! despite that my runny nose is still with me and worsening.

Niamahhh!!!

p/s: after reading our happy Malaysian bugger blog. Niamah!!! had become quite contagious edi lah. At least for today onli la... who dare to spoil my remainder of the day will definitely get a praise of Niamah!!! from me. I shall repent and drop the habit by midnight lah.... haha

A little bit off lah

Today was rather boring. Woke up early in morning the juz to attend to my fiber optics communications test 2. Which seemingly all to easy, spent less than half of the 1.5 hours allocated. (Cakap besar... wait for the paper to come back and see all the silly mistakes then... maybe).

Slept throughout the whole noon, 1200 till 1730. Geng leh?

Today was rather boring. Woke up early in the evening juz beacuase i can't sleep anymore. Which seemingly all to simple, rise and straight away to my pc. Went around browsing my friends blogs and Friendster accounts.

Stumbled upon this interesting website: MyHeritage.com

Fooled around a little bit, and this are the results...

MyHeritage - free family trees, genealogy and face recognition
Round 1 - i used my recent pic. What appears is all blacks (not discriminating ^.^). But which part of me looks the same. Oh well, maybe i looked a lil bit like Will Smith laa. perasan

MyHeritage - free family trees, genealogy and face recognition
Round 2 - this time i decided to go with one of my weirdest face-shot. Now i juz wondered why Jamie Foxx was included.. Oh ya, Bunko Kanazawa is a Japanese AV Star (apa... dun tell me u dunno. Porn star laa) and a pretty popular one too.

MyHeritage - free family trees, genealogy and face recognition
Round 3 - enough of myself. This time is a dated pic of my classmate acting all "cute" at my house. Jay Chou 72%??!!! ok... malas comment edi.

MyHeritage - free family trees, genealogy and face recognition
Last but not least. A pic of a girl (before u guys starts to fire me). Rather dated... but it turns out well. I can see a resemblance with Leslie.. huhuhu.

Chao...

Standing Tall

I was strolling in Giant's South City Plaza for my usual weekend grocery shopping. Then i noticed this so called 'limited edition' dates drink produced by coca-cola company. Out of curiosity of the taste, i decided to buy this tiny lil 240ml can which costs Rm1.49 (expensive!).

Talking about standing tall... Malaysian ought to be called tall if we can even reach 150cm height. My height is way beyond that. And in the context of this drink. YES! IT FALLS WAYYY SHORT OF MY EXPECTATIONS.

First, it doesnt have the original kurma taste. Juz like the canned cincau, which is far from the original. Secondly, its way too sweet! even when chilled... (for those who don't know. Fruit juices is sweeter at room temperature, and even more sweeter at body temperature. Scientific details? Juz like my lecturers like to say: "Go Google it urself.") What the hell with 'No preservatives' but pumped in a whole lot of cane sugar.

Lastly, Seasons Red Dates with Longan drink tastes 10x (not exaggerating) better and costs only 89 cents.

The Past Week

Been very busy for the pass week. With mooncake festival and wedding comin one after another. In the midst of my tiredness, i could rejoice by seeing many joyful new faces joining from Uniten and UPM especially for the two nights of mooncake celebration, where i was in charge of the games.

Some of the new faces

The wedding of my friend of four years, Ying Hou to Keat Mei on saturday was extravagantly great as well, set in an english garden style. Pictures aren't ready, i was busy with the commitee in charge of ushering. No time to pop up my handy phone-cam. I'll be back again when i get the pics from the various photographers ^.^

But hey, suprise suprise...

About God

You are perhaps thinking who is this person called God and what is He all about? Well let me try to explain Him to you by sharing with you who Jesus is. Well the bible says that He is the Son of God. God sent his only son to this world because the world has basically become quite messed up. Though He was a spiritual being like God, He came and walked on earth as a physical man … all for a simple reason to love us!

Let me explain...

When God created us, He meant for us to know Him. Not just know Him but to have a real personal relationship with Him just like a child with a good loving father.

But we are sinful and basically don’t always choose to do the right things. You see when we do wrong things (may it cheating or lying or even having anger in the heart) it is ‘sin’ in the eyes of God. This decision to sin causes us to be separated from God

Nevertheless, man may still tries to reach God by living a good life, doing good works and following a certain good religion. All these so called “human efforts” just does not work, nothing will, at least not without God.

So what did God do? As I shared earlier, He sent His only son Jesus Christ to this world. Though He did not do anything wrong, He was wrongly persecuted and was punished on the cross. When He died, He paid the price of all our sins and created a path for us back to God.

Now this is so wonderful because it’s God’s gift to us. We can now decide to cross over by admitting that we have sinned and needed His forgiveness and leadership in our life.

So where are you on this path?

Do you wish to receive what Jesus has done for you and began a personal relationship God? If this reflects your heart’s desire, just say the simple prayer at the bottom of this page.

And if you wish to find out more, join us in any of our care groups, worship services, speak to us or just drop me an email.

Thanks for your time.

Say this prayer from your heart to go our own way and want Jesus to be the leader of our life.

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need your forgiveness. I believe that you died for my sins, I want to turn from my sins, I now invite you to come into my heart and be the leader of my life. Thank you for coming into my life. In Jesus name Amen“.

Over"Friendly" Friendster

As usual, i was browsing about my Friendster's account. And i came to notice some new views....

Someone was checking me out... who?

Alrightt.. its a girl... how did she end up "checking' me out. Noticing that she's in my extended network, which means no link at all. Since it was a girl, i might as well take some time "checking" out in return... to see whether she's a 'beauty' or the 'beast' (omg.. God... i confess of this sin and sincerely repent)

Till i saw this... i had 2 sent a few post to clear a lil misunderstanding (already!)

What i did? Look at the next picture and u'll know why!

This was where my first original comment lies, within the Friendster's homepage of my classmate. Zoom in and the comment says "Ok... ur fat".

It appears that any comment i make on any one of the two pics above will simultaneously appear on both! Superb glitch you have done for me my dear Friendster!

I relate this incident to my housemate and his girlfriend, and they jokingly acknowledged,"Maybe God wants to help you to know more pretty girls!"

What the!!! -_-"
