Fact #1

Why is a communication tower in Malaysia painted red and white?

A. To prevent aeroplanes and heli from banging it.
B. Red and white looks cool.
C. A measure of height.
D. To tell that it is a communication tower.

The answer is........ C!

The red-white combo signifies the height of the tower. The Malaysian Communication & Multimedia Commission (MCMC) sets the standard that each red-white segment is of 6m high. By looking at how many segments available.. we can know the height of the tower. Cool eh!
